The construction of solar water heater :
The main construction elements are: (1) Collector (2) Storage tank (3) Plumbing accessories
Collector
This includes (a) cover (b) absorber (c) insulation (d) frame

Cover
Made out primarily of glass. This glass must be tempered and reinforced. It should be of high perspective.
From a lateral view, it is better if the glass looks white.
If it looks greenish the perspective rate is lower.
Normally only one sheet of glass is enough, but in cold areas or where higher water temperatures are required double pane glass or glass with film is needed to prevent rapid heat loss.
Absorber
This is the essential part, or the heart of the solar panel.The solar absorber
needs a very good coating to collect heat, and additional coats to prevent
from etching and provide long duration of the absorber.Thus we must select an
absorber with good quality coatings to increase the heat collecting of hot water supply

Insulating materials.
These materials are stuffed at the bottom or sides of the absorber,materials used are usually:fiber glass or PU foam to prevent heat loss
Hot water storage tank.
There are 3 layers in the tank. The inside layer is made of stainless steel (#304 or #316). The middle layer of the pressure vessel is made of PU forming insulating materials. The outside layer is stainless steel or zinc palted painted steel. The tank must be rust proof, with good insulating materials. While the inside tank must resist high water pressure.
